I’m so sorry that WE ARE ALL FACING THIS and THAT YOU MAY BE considering postponing your Wedding day, possibly even for the third or fourth time now. NONE OF US EVER expected to be in this situation, and it’s uncertain times for us all, but together we can get through it!

I am here to help  and support you and want to do all I can to make rescheduling you day as stress free as possible.

If you do need to reschedule your date, we can work together, along with your venue, to find a new date that I’m available. I still really, REALLY would love to be your photographer with all my heart and soul. We’ve spent time connecting and I would be gutted not to be able to cover your day. This whole situation has just made me even more passionate about capturing the love and happiness in the world, and so grateful to be able to share these occasions with awesome people like you.

I am here for you, to support you and to do everything I can to make rescheduling your day as stress free as possible for you.

So, you have to reschedule, what next…?

I want to make sure that even though your date may have to change, you still have the day that you originally planned, and dreamed of.

So, I’ve popped a link to my calendar below so that when you’re chatting with your venue, you can have this to hand to check my available dates, and cross-reference this with all of your wedding team to find a new date that works for everyone.

As soon as you have found the perfect date, make sure you let me know as soon as possible so that we can get everything confirmed for you, to avoid any further disappointment, as you can understand, there are lots of couples in the same position needing to reschedule so available dates are filling fast.

If you have already chosen a date with your venue which I am not available for, please get in touch with me as soon as you can, so that we can chat through your options and find a solution.

If you do decide to go ahead with a very small legal ceremony on your original date, and reschedule your party/blessing for a later date, I would also love to be there for you, if possible, in whatever capacity I can be – even if it is just to take a few pics of you both together after your ceremony – whatever I can do to record that time for you, as a thank you for supporting me and my little business in these uncertain times.

CONNECTION IS THE CATALYST FOR CREATION ON YOUR WEDDING DAY

I feel extremely fortunate to have such incredible couples during all of this. Understanding, generous and most importantly, each of you has been so kind. So thank you to each and every one of you who may read this.

Much of what we create as photographers on your wedding day is not only based on our skills, but on the connection we have with you, your family and your guests. Our interactions together, both leading up to your day as well as on your day, greatly effect the work we produce. It is that trust and mutual connection that will allow us to go from creating great images to extraordinary images for you.

That connection is why so many of you may choose one photographer over the other when you start your search. Budget is an obvious factor, but you chose a photographer that you “connected” with.  Someone who you got along with or envisaged spending one of the most important days of your lives with. I hope that after our initial meeting or chat you said to each other, “I think Louise would be perfect to capture our day”  – because we connected.

So, as the world is turned upside down and you start to look at postponing or rescheduling your wedding day, please understand that we as wedding photographers are also in the same difficult situation as you, our small businesses and livelihoods have been affected tragically not only last year, but now this year and for next year also. We thrive on those connections and it’s so hard not to be out there amidst happy celebrations surrounded by love, no matter how much we so desperately want to. I was excitedly looking forward to your day, just as you were – and I want to do everything that I can to support you all through this situation and be there for you on your new date.

When the time comes your day may look a little different than you originally planned, but how hard I am going to work, and the heart and soul I am going to give is now even more! Keep your trust in me and know that I am 110% here for you, to capture your connection and document your perfect day. So that in 20 years, when you’re sitting down with your kids, you’re able to look back at all the beauty your one single day created, amidst a world of chaos.
