I love working with adventurous couples who are head over heels in love and want someone to capture their wedding story in a candid, emotive and artistic way. I work best with people when they relax and put their trust in me to capture their connection and create something beautiful and unique just for them.

I document genuine moments as they naturally happen and invest my time with you before your wedding day to understand your relationship and learn about the family members and guests who matter most to you. By the time your big day arrives I will be one of the gang, helping to zip up dresses and pin on boutonnieres. Then, as the moments unfold. I’ll stay in the background unobtrusively focusing on telling your story. You won’t find me recreating events, but you will find me observing and anticipating moments before they ever happen.

If you would like to capture some special candid portraits, you can expect a relaxed and unposed experience. We’ll work together in a beautiful location on a timeline that works with your schedule. Whilst I may give a little direction about where the light is best, I will take a hands off approach allowing you some quiet time to make the moment your own.

When we’re done you’ll have the complete story of your weddings with photos that will take your breath away every time you look at them. If that’s something that excites you, we’ll be a perfect fit!

Every day is different, but, as a very loose and general rule, you will receive up to 400 photographs for 6 hours of coverage and up to 600 for 12 hours of coverage. For Connection Sessions, circa 75. Every wedding is individual and unique in size, in moments and in opportunity and it’s impossible to quote an absolute figure that works across all possible scenarios. Part of why you choose me as your photographer is my curation of your images to tell your story. The wedding itself is just the very start of the creative process. I carefully cull, curate, and edit every image that I know you will love – even the occasional photo that may ‘technically’ not quite make the grade, but if the moment is special, it will be included. I promise I won’t leave anything out. You will get the best images from all that I photograph throughout your day.

All of your edited files are delivered in high resolution and web optimiSed JPEG formats via an online viewing gallery, these are very easy to download with no watermarks and full print release. Take a look through the complete sample albums below to experience these.

I aim to get a few ‘Sneak Peak’ images to you within a few days of your wedding. Your big day is only the start of the creative process. Over the next 8-12 weeks I will carefully process your images, prepare your gallery and create your slideshow – making sure your photographs will do your memories justice. The attention to detail that goes into finishing your photographs is essential to my artistry and not something that can be rushed.

Of course! I think it’s really important for you to see how I document an entire wedding day – the details, the moments, the feelings – everything that makes a wedding so special and unique.

My editing is a fundamental  part of my art and unique style and I do not deliver raw files. Giving out my unedited files would be like a chef giving out uncooked ingredients to his customers. No one wants raw chicken, trust me!  

A few weeks before your wedding I’ll send you a questionnaire. Your answers will tell me everything I need to know about your wedding plans so I don’t miss a thing. The questionnaire will include a list of groupings for your family photos. You will also find recommendations for special photos and an area to add extra information.

I absolutely love traveling and I am always  inspired by new places and cultures. I’ll happily go anywhere you invite me – especially if it’s warm in the winter!!

Travel costs only apply if your location requires a flight or is over 50 miles away from EX16 postcode. For locations further afield, mileage is charged at 45p per mile plus accommodation, if required.

Travel fees for destination weddings are customised depending your location and plans, however they generally include two nights at a hotel and round trip flight out of either Exeter or Bristol airport.

After we’ve talked about which package works best for your wedding, I’ll send along a formal proposal with the contract and payment information through a  custom online portal.

I require a 25% non-refundable retainer and a signed agreement to confirm your booking. The balance is due in full one month before your wedding day.

You may also spread your payments out between those times –  however it works best for you. 

I find that men look great  in dark clothing, whether it is a smart casual outfit, or a beautifully cut suit, which is always very dashing.For women I suggest something flowing and neutral in colour, with natural hair and makeup. This sits perfectly with my aesthetic and the English landscape and does not overpower you as a couple, ensuring your connection is the focus of the photographs

The most important thing is to just be you and wear something that you feel comfortable in. Do not feel like you have to dress up if that’s not your thing – jeans and snuggly knits are just as cool!
