I love working with adventurous couples who are totally in love and want someone to capture their fun and emotion-filled Wedding story in a candid, emotive and artistic way. I work best with people who are relaxed and put their trust in me to capture their connection and create something beautiful and unique for them. I keep in regular touch during the run up to your Wedding day so that we get to know each other and build a rapport. I’m usually one of the gang, helping to zip up dresses and pin button holes by the time the big day arrives!!

I’m a part of your day to document genuine moments as they naturally happen. I invest time with you before your wedding day to understand what and who is important in your unique story and for most of the day itself I stay very hands off, unobtrustively focusing purely on telling this story. You won’t find me recreating moments, but you will find me watching and ready to capture those moments before they even happen.

If you would like to capture some special moments between you as a couple, this is also a very relaxed and unposed experience. We work together, in a beautiful location, to make images that are unique to you. Whilst I may give a little direction about where we find the light, I then step back so you can make the moment your own, which allows me to capture your connection in honest, natural photos.

My goal at every wedding is to tell your story and capture moments that are important to you and to ultimately create a portrait of your connection that takes your breath away. If that’s something that excites you, we’ll be a perfect fit.

Every day is different, but, as a very loose and general rule, you will receive up to 400 photographs for 6 hours of coverage and up to 600 for 12 hours of coverage. For Connection Sessions, circa 75. Every wedding is individual and unique in size, in moments and in opportunity and it’s impossible to quote an absolute figure that works across all possible scenarios. Part of why you choose me as your photographer is my curation of your images to tell your story. The wedding itself is just the very start of the creative process. I carefully cull, curate, and edit every image that I know you will love – even the occasional photo that may ‘technically’ not quite make the grade, but if the moment is special, it will be included. I promise I won’t leave anything out. You will get the best images from all that I photograph throughout your day.

All of your edited files are delivered in high resolution and web optimised JPEG formats via an online viewing gallery, these are very easy to download with no watermarks and full print release. Take a look through the complete sample albums below to experience these.

I aim to get a few ‘Sneak Peak’ images to you within a few days of your wedding day. Your wedding itself is only the start of the creative process, over the next 8-12 weeks I take my time to master your images, prepare your gallery and create your slideshow – making sure your photographs are ready to do your memories justice. This is a huge part of the art of telling the story of your day and not something that can be rushed..

No, I don’t. My editing is a HUGE part of my art and unique style. It’s half of the end result I deliver. Giving out my unedited files would be like a chef giving out uncooked ingredients to his customers. No one wants raw chicken, trust me! I promise I’ll deliver all the photos you’ll want, and if for some reason you think I missed something, please do just pop me a message.

Travel costs only apply with locations that require a flight or that are over 50 miles away from EX16 postcode. For locations further afield, mileage is charged at 45p per mile plus accommodation, if required.

Destination weddings are customised depending on the specifics of your location and plans, however it’s generally 2 nights hotel and round trip flight out of either Exeter or Bristol airport.

I require a 25% non-refundable retainer and a signed agreement to confirm your booking. The balance is due 1 month before your wedding day.

I’m totally happy for you to spread your payments between that time –  however works best for you. If you’d like to set something up, just let me know!

However! I would always also say to just be you and absolutely wear something that you feel comfortable in. Do not feel like you have to dress up if that’s not your thing – jeans and snuggly knits are just as cool! If you wear something you feel awkward and uncomfortable in, that will show in your images, so ultimately just be the unique ‘you’ that you are, and if you have any questions, I’m always here to help!
